Does my car have to be free from damage?

No, we accept cars that are damaged. However, when we work out how much your car is worth, we assume that your car still retains sufficient value to offset the collection, recycling and depollution costs. For example we assume that your car still rolls, has all of its major parts and has not been damaged to the point where the majority of parts and body panels cannot be reused. Examples of incidents which may affect this include a major accident, a significant act of vandalism or a fire.

Don't worry about every day wear and tear, such as rust, dents and scratches.

You'll have the chance to tell us if your car is significantly damaged before you accept our quote. We'll then contact you to let you know whether or not your instant quote needs to be adjusted. If we do adjust your quote, there's no obligation to accept.
